Military Pillbox
This Military Pillbox (305) is between Iford and Northease on the foot of the Sussex Downs on the Newhaven Road (C7) near Lewes. It is very well hidden by its shrubbery and has beautiful views of the chalk pits in the distance made by the old Cement Works.
It is still in a very good safe condition and it is worth finding for the views alone. Nearby was a concrete construction of some sort, something to do with sewage or slurry me thinks.
