Derelict Windmill
This derelict windmill at Cross-In-Hand, near Heathfield, was built in Framfield in 1806 before being moved twice, first in 1855 and again to its present location in 1868. It is known as the New Mill and it closed in 1969, after a sweep stock broke and is said to be the last windmill to be used commercially in Sussex and it is now very perilously close to collapse.
