Abandoned Church
I think my favourite urbex so far was this Redundant St Elisabeth Church in Eastbourne sometimes called the Saint Elizabeth church with its grand pipe organ. Consecrated in 1938 but due to design faults in the construction of the walls and roof which affected the structural integrity, it was closed in 2003.
Photogenic Church
I took loads of snaps and most of them turned out well, It is a very photogenic church to shoot in and I just could not decide which snaps to upload so hence this pic heavy report. Visited with my Grandson. In the church crypt there is a Mural entitled Pilgrim’s Progress, which was painted by refugee Hans Feibusch a Jewish refugee from Germany in the 1930s and it is also a registered War Memorial.
